Hyderabad: The Hyderabad chapter of CREDAI, (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India), an apex body of private real estate developers, said the second CREDAIbility-themed property show is going to start off at Shree Convention Centre in Kompally from today (August 9).

At the three-day event, Rera-registered projects featuring apartment complexes, villas, plots, and commercial spaces in the areas of Balanagar, Kompally, Shamirpet, Medchal, Alwal, Patancheru, and others will be on display.

V Rajashekar Reddy, president, CREDAI Hyderabad, said: “Hyderabad’s real estate industry is expanding rapidly. The government’s GRID policy ensures balanced growth across the city, preventing congestion in one area while other parts lag behind. Industrial corridors, supported by radial road development under SRDP, are spreading growth around the ORR. North Hyderabad, known for its e-commerce warehouses and ‘Genome Valley,’ is a hub for life sciences and medical research. To highlight this region, we are hosting a property show in North Hyderabad.”

B Jagannath Rao, Secretary, CREDAI Hyderabad, said, “This area has seen a 179 per cent increase in units sold in the first half of CY24 compared to H1 CY19, with a 23 per cent CAGR in the total value of sales. Properties priced between Rs 1 to 2 core saw a 264 per cent surge, while those under Rs 1 crore grew by 128 per cent. Even the Rs 2 crore - 5 crore segment saw a 157 per cent increase in sales. The average unit value in H1 CY24 has risen by 35 per cent from H1 CY19 to Rs 1 crore. These trends show a significant spike in demand and property values in North Hyderabad.”
